The New Year Starts

So, this year my resolution was to put somethin' down in the blog/news area at least three times a
week. Personally, I don't even give this resolution a week's chance - but I'm gonna try.
Speaking of years, for some reason a LOT of readers forgot I give S*P a break around Christmas time and I received a few upset, "Why'd you quit the comic" emails.
It is a compliment that they were sad at the idea of S*P ending - but seriously? I've taken that break for a while now. I dunno what to tell you except it'll
happen again next year, too. The only other thing I can think of is their DNS definitions haven't updated and they're hitting a dead IP number.
Oh, fun story - after all of that, Burton Hosting actually contacted me about a week ago - with an $800 invoice. It's taken care of now, but as one might imagine,
I was less than pleased.
But more importantly, I want to wish my dear friend, Clarine Harp (aka the basis for Aubrey), a happy birthday today. I hope it's a good one, sweetie. You deserve
it and more, and I hope the next year is wonderful to you. -R
